AXE COP!!!

This week’s addition to The Bookshelf is one of the best webcomics of all time in printed form. Axe Cop is drawn by Ethan Nicolle and written by his 5 year old brother, Malachai Nicolle. This book collects the first year of Axe Cop’s website.

The story is about a cop… with an axe… that fights crime… ALWAYS! It may not sound like a much, but I think you need to read it to truly appreciate it.  There’s a reason why this was picked up by Dark Horse Comics for a mini-series.

Its filled with dinosaurs, superheroes, unicorns and talking animals and a dude with socks for arms. Really. This can’t really be explained, but its exactly the kind of stuff you’d expect to spring from the mind of a 5 year old kid. Check out the site at www.axecop.com.
