Remember a few weeks ago when I wrote about The Intrepids? Well, local writer Kurtis Wiebe has another book out, this time with Riley Rossmo, called Green Wake. This book is already getting rave reviews across the internet, and with good reason.
Green Wake is a dark, gloomy seaside town with its own mystery: none of the inhabitants can leave, and no one remembers how they got there. This would be weird enough, but to add to it all, a string of murders seem to be taking place. Morley, the local self-appointed ‘greeter’ looks into the case and feels there is a connection between a local woman and her newly arrived ex-boyfriend, but what that connection has to the murders remains to be seen.
