Welcome to The Bookshelf.

Spring is here, and that means one thing: its time for Marvel Comics to do another big event that crosses over all of its big titles. This year, its ‘Fear Itself’, which appears to be The Red Skull’s daughter enacting one of her fathers doomsday plans; waking up an ancient being who’d got a serious grudge against Asgard.

I’m kinda split on this one. I’m sure it’ll be a great story, but I’m getting tired of reading all the tie-ins, prequels and spin-offs for these events. Would it kill Marvel to have there universe not be in dire peril for a summer?
